As the Team Lead of Data Science & Analytics (DSA), Revenue, you’ll co-lead the Pricing & Services subdomain. This entails being on the cross-functional subdomain leadership team, leading the Pricing Intelligence team of 3 decision scientists, and leading 2 decision scientists who are embedded in cross-functional product teams. Together with peers from Business, Engineering, Product, and Design, you will create, own, and deliver Pricing & Services objectives and key results. Your primary responsibility will be to enable the Pricing Business to optimise our investments through experimentation (AB testing), in-depth causal data analysis, and the development of ROI models. You will do so by leading your DSA team via a well-planned roadmap, mentorship, and personal hands-on contributions.

You’ll work closely with Pricing Business and Pricing & Services Product leadership to drive Vinted’s pricing strategy as well as to optimise tens-of-millions of pricing discounts investments. At the same time, you will collaborate with the DSA peers to implement the DSA strategy and make data count at Vinted. You’ll report to the Director of Data Science & Analytics, Revenue.

• Co-create across Pricing & DSA: Pitch your findings to your team, peers, as well as Pricing & Services stakeholders to pivot the models and metrics used to measure success
• Proactively Plan the Roadmap: Always be on top of a 3-6 months roadmap, which ensures perfect alignment between Pricing & Services stakeholder needs and strategic DSA objectives
• Be a Team Player: If critical, be ready to help with ad-hoc requests (data questions and consultations, data bugs, analyses, etc.)

• Outstanding statistical, analytical, strategic, and business skills
• Highly business-results-oriented and able to connect science with pragmatic problem-solving
• A good communicator who can present results in an informative and persuasive manner to a wide range of stakeholders
• Extensive working experience as a Decision Scientist, Data Analyst, or Data Scientist
• Demonstrated track record of leading large projects and mentoring people
• Experienced with AB testing and measuring causal relationships using advanced statistical methods
• Strong knowledge of at least one statistical programming language (Python, R, Julia, Scala, etc.)
• Fluency with SQL and experience with dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, etc.)
• A university degree in statistics, econometrics, economics, business, or a similar field
• Excellent at communicating in written and spoken English
• Bonus: Proven experience leading a small team of decision/data scientists or analysts

The salary range for this position is €4,608 - € 6,233 gross per month.
