Information about the position
We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help evolve and maintain Vinted Pay’s infrastructure. Currently, we manage our infrastructure in AWS cloud utilizing tools like Kubernetes, EC2. Our services hosted on AWS cloud infrastructure closely communicate with other Vinted services running on premises.
Here are some of the technologies we use: Terraform, Go, MySQL, OpenSearch, Redis, Kafka, Prometheus, Grafana, Grafana Tempo, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Argo CD, Lambda, ECS, S3, Karpenter, Helm, Backstage, Temporal, JFrog Artifactory, Wiz and others.
In this position, you’ll
- Build and maintain payment infrastructure on AWS
- Write code to automate manual work
- Define the architecture for cloud-based services
- Consult Vinted engineers on cloud technologies and best practices
- Identify opportunities for improvement in our infrastructure and build solutions to implement them
- Monitor and debug problems in production to meet established SLO's
- Participate in an on-call rotation with the team every few weeks (depending on the team size)
- Implement self-service tooling
- Collaborate with security teams to implement best practices
About you
- You avoid TOIL
- Experienced with public cloud services (AWS knowledge is a plus)
- Previous working experience at scale
- Good track record of delivering complex technical solutions
- Comfortable with standard software development components such as code version control system (Git), automated testing, continuous integration
- Have hands-on experience in software development or/and infrastructure automation
- Have a solid understanding of IT infrastructure
- Previous working experience with payments infrastructure is a huge plus
- Good written and spoken technical communications skills
- Fluent in English

The salary range for this position is € 5,100 - € 6,900 gross per month.
