Information about the position

We are actively looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our distinguished Product Engineering team in the Trust domain. Our domain is dedicated to prioritizing the safety of our services and protecting members from malicious content and behaviors.

You’ll be joining a cross-functional product team with a strong backend focus, working on systems that power detection and decision-making tools critical to trust and safety at Vinted. In this role, you’ll primarily focus on manual testing of complex backend functionalities and data-driven features. This includes validating detection logic, analyzing behavioral patterns, ensuring data integrity, and verifying system behavior under various scenarios through exploratory testing. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, and product managers to understand how our systems identify potentially harmful behavior and ensure our detection mechanisms work effectively and reliably. As the team continues to adopt shift-left testing practices, we expect the balance between manual and automated testing to evolve, offering you the opportunity to shape and contribute to our testing strategy.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys digging into backend systems, thrives on analytical thinking and investigative work, and wants to play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of tools that make a real impact on our members’ safety.

In this position, you’ll

  • Participate actively in the QA community at Vinted, sharing insights and collaborating with over 50 QAs.
  • Contribute to daily team ceremonies to identify inconsistencies early and prevent potential issues.
  • Foster knowledge-sharing both within and outside your team.

About you
