Information about the position

As a Technical Operative you will be working alongside a team that is responsible for our business infrastructure needs, your position will have a broad view consisting of physical asset operational support, reactive and proactive maintenance and working with our Health and Safety team to keep our team safe.

In this position, you'll

  • Learn the 4 Key Stages of real estate development 
  • Develop your Property Management Skills  
  • Support day-to-day reactive and proactive maintenance activities 
  • Help to improve property data and reporting metrics 
  • Assists in research towards Vinted Go ESG strategy 
  • Work hand in hand with H&S to keep the workplace safe
  • Support the interventions for safety technical inspections (VGP, Q18, N4,...)
  • Have the opportunity to implement significant changes and create new processes
  • Comply with health and safety requirements, maintain plant and machinery to a safe level, keep the area clean/safe and tidy
  • Attend maintenance/breakdowns visits where electrical and mechanical fault finding is required
  • Proceed with setting of sensors, electric motors, pneumatics systems. 

About you

  • A technical background and training with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven hands-on experience in machine maintenance, specifically in the build and maintenance of conveyors, automation machinery, and/or material handling machinery.
  • Mechanical and basic electrical experience with familiarity of systems which include, sensors, pneumatic, inverter speed controlled motors, 24 Volt d.c. and PLC control inputs/outputs. 
  • Willing to broaden horizon, learn new segments supporting sustainability projects ie: Automation, EV and Sustainability Installations
  • Electrical training and certification (H1B1V BC BR)
  • Work in a tidy organised fashion
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in French and English
  • Ready to commit, own and create
  • Willing to learn new things
  • Problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Passionate about asset maintenance
  • Willing to travel to Vinted Go locations (not just in France but where we have operational hubs)
  • Full qualifying drivers licence (Permis B)

Our current operations are based in Le Thillay (95) and Elancourt (78), with plans to relocate to a new warehouse in Vaires-sur-Marne (77) by summer.
