Information about the position 

The Content Design team is part of Vinted's Design & Research organisation and consists of 6 Content Designers fully embedded within multidisciplinary domains. They work closely with Product Design, Research, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric product content. While embedded in these domains, the team maintains a shared vision and unified standards to ensure consistency in craft and high-quality outcomes.

As the UX Writing & Content Design Manager, your primary objective is to elevate the impact of content design across Vinted by ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-centred copies that drive measurable business outcomes. This includes improving content quality (through experimentation and member-centric approaches) and operational efficiency (reducing lead time and optimising productivity).

To achieve this, you’ll lead and grow a team of talented UX Writers, fostering their development while establishing standards, scalable content systems, efficient processes, and effective tooling. You’ll also cultivate a collaborative and innovative culture that empowers the team to deliver meaningful results.

Reporting to the Director of Content Design & Localisation, you’ll work closely with cross-functional partners to align strategies, solve complex challenges, and deliver meaningful user experiences. This role combines leadership, strategy, and opportunities to directly shape the future of content design at Vinted through high-impact initiatives.

In this position, you’ll 

  • Lead and enable the team to deliver impactful, user-centered content that aligns with business goals and drives measurable results, ensuring both quality and efficiency.
  • Mentor and grow a team of UX writers, fostering their development and creating an environment where they can thrive.
  • Shape the vision and structure of the content design team, building a strong foundation for its growth and maturity.
  • Drive the evolution of the content design function by maturing its embedding within the product development lifecycle, enhancing collaboration, and refining standards and processes.
  • Develop and execute strategies for high-complexity initiatives, aligning with business objectives and user needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver impactful, user-focused solutions.
  • Plan and manage team capacity, ensuring sustainable workloads and effective resource allocation.
  • Define KPIs to measure the success of initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

About you 

  • Expert knowledge in shaping user-facing product content for web and mobile applications (typically 8+ years), with a strong portfolio of end-to-end UX content solutions that guide users seamlessly through the product experience.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to build, mentor, and empower collaborative, high-performing teams that thrive in a dynamic environment and consistently deliver measurable impact.
  • Demonstrable expertise in applying user-centred design methodologies to create engaging, concise, and impactful content that improves digital product experiences.
  • Proven experience establishing or maturing the content design function, including developing standards, processes, and frameworks that elevate the craft.
  • Strong ability to build successful relationships with stakeholders, partners, and team members, engaging and influencing at all levels of the organisation.
  • A proactive mindset for identifying opportunities to improve ways of working and increase operational efficiency.
  • Proficient with design and content management tools like Figma, Ditto, and Frontitude, and you leverage A/B testing or experimentation to refine and validate user experiences.
  • Experience or strong interest in leveraging AI-powered tools or processes for content creation, optimisation, or scaling, and you see AI as an opportunity to enhance user experiences and increase operational efficiency.

The salary range for this position is  4,917 - € 6,650 gross per month.
