Information about the position
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will play a critical role in expanding VintedGo’s presence across the Benelux region. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, secure, and develop strategic partnerships with key real estate, retail, and other large networks. These partnerships will enable VintedGo to establish physical PUDO (Pick-Up and Drop-Off) points, either by hosting parcel lockers or collaborating with shops. This is a strategic role requiring a proactive, creative, and solutions-oriented approach to unlock mutual value for both VintedGo and its partners.
You will negotiate agreements at the highest organizational levels, focusing on delivering tailored solutions that align with VintedGo’s objectives. Success in this role demands a strong commercial acumen, the ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships, and a proven ability to close deals in complex, large-scale settings.
In this position, you’ll
- Identify, approach, and secure strategic partnerships with large real estate, retail, and other networks to host VintedGo parcel lockers or collaborate as shops.
- Develop and execute tailored partnership plans that maximize mutual value and achieve long-term collaboration.
- Lead high-level negotiations, crafting creative solutions and managing pricing, contracts, and service terms with large partner groups.
- Negotiate and secure group-wide agreements, ensuring alignment across various stakeholders and divisions within partner organizations.
- Drive discussions with key decision-makers, presenting VintedGo’s value proposition and ensuring alignment with partner objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Legal, Operations, Product) to validate terms, streamline implementation, and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify new partnership opportunities and understand industry dynamics.
- Represent VintedGo in industry events and trade fairs, building the brand’s visibility and reputation.
- Monitor and report performance metrics, including network coverage, drop-offs, pick-ups, and account profitability.
- Proactively address partner concerns and ensure the highest quality of perceived service.
About you
- Fluent in Dutch at a native or near-native level (spoken and written) is required for this role alongside English.
- Proven experience in strategic account management, business development, or a related role, ideally within the retail, logistics, or real estate sectors.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work on large-scale, complex partnerships at a strategic level.
- Strong understanding of business strategy and the ability to align partner objectives with organizational goals.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive results.
