Information about the position 

As a Product Designer within the Trust domain at Vinted, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our services are useful and usable, and our members are safe from harmful content and activities such as fraud and scams.

You’ll get to design solutions for our members and internal tools across a variety of channels. You’ll work alongside a Product Manager, Engineers, and Data Analysts. You’ll collaborate closely with researchers, visual designers, and content designers. Together you’ll transform complex issues about Trust and Safety into intuitive, accessible, and easy-to-use solutions.

In this position, you’ll 

  • Join a cross-functional team to define problems and goals, map flows, prototype interactions, and support the development process.
  • Take charge of design planning and execution for the initiatives owned by your cross-functional team.
  • Champion member-centricity; understand the member journey, convert their needs into actionable opportunities for the team, benchmark against top-tier products and services.
  • Drive quality design delivery; ensure cohesive UX across the marketplace while adhering to brand guidelines, anticipating risks and continuously elevating the design quality standard
  • Give and solicit feedback from designers and partners across other disciplines
  • Independently own initiatives and problem spaces, identifying gaps and opportunities for future work.
  • Contributing to the evolution of our design system.
  • Operate with a sense of urgency and high ownership, consistently delivering high-quality work.
  • Be part of a marketplace domain and report to the Trust and Safety Product Design Director.

About you 

  • Strong experience designing and shipping web products and mobile native apps
  • Proven extensive end-to-end Product Design experience in shipping digital products
  • Solid understanding of the design process - discovery to delivery
  • Designing with qualitative and quantitative insights
  • Preferably experienced in delivering cross-architectural products, where one system impacts another
  • Critical design thinker, driven to solve complex problems and able to align teams around problem areas and discovery
  • Comfortable with driving iterative strategies to optimise processes and solutions swiftly
  • Growth mindset; willingness to learn and openness to feedback
  • A strong collaborator with cross-functional peers with good stakeholder management
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and spoken English
  • Having some technical background is a bonus
