Information about the position 

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our People Analytics Team. As Vinted grows with new products, locations and increasing complexity there is a need to further support decision making in the company with people data.

As a Senior Analyst your primary focus will be on analyzing and interpreting data across the employee lifecycle providing a holistic view from candidacy to alumni. You will have an opportunity to build People analytics products from scratch and shape the People Analytics function at Vinted. We’re looking for a special candidate that has a combination of HR domain expertise, strong knowledge of analysis tools and the ability to communicate well with a variety of stakeholders. 

Reporting to a Senior Director in the People team, you will work within a team whose mandate is to accelerate people analytics at Vinted. You will work with data across various People systems like Workday, Greenhouse, Peakon and others.

In this position, you’ll 

  • Contribute to building People Analytics products and expansion of data-based culture
  • Understand business problems and enable business leaders and the People team to translate them into solutions supported by data and analysis
  • Manage dashboards, analysis and enabling for data spanning across the complete Employee Life Cycle (“From Hire to Retire”)
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives in People team

About you 

  • BSc or MSc in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or another related field (or equivalent working experience)
  • HR domain expertise
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and storytelling skills
  • Experience with data visualization tools, preferably Looker but Tableau and Power Bi are applicable too
  • You are a Google Sheets master
  • Excellent communication and relationships building skills to partner with stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Knowledge of Workday reporting would be an advantage

Nice-to-have:

  • Hands-on experience in statistics and advanced analysis, i.e. hypothesis testing, forecasting, predictions, sentiment analysis, etc.
  • Knowledge of at least one statistical programming language (R, Python, Matlab etc.)
  • Ability to use SQL
  • App scripting in Google Sheets
