Information about the position 

This role is part of the Vinted Carrier Operations Development team, which is responsible for supporting and enabling our Vinted Carrier Operation as it grows and expands across Europe. We do this by identifying opportunities and developing a program of initiatives to drive forwards on behalf of the operation. You will be a pivotal member of the Vinted Carrier Operations Development team, tasked with both developing and integrating automated sortation and processing solutions for our sortation centres. In addition, you will manage projects aimed at optimizing our last-mile delivery operation to enhance Vinted’s out-of-home delivery network. Your efforts will help scale our network while preserving our commitment to sustainability and cost-efficiency.

The role can be based in one of our France warehouses based in Le Thillay, Saint-Priest or Roncq.

In this position, you’ll 

  • Develop and implement scalable, automated solutions for package sortation, integrating these systems into our operational model.
  • Execute last-mile delivery projects to improve sustainability and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance our operational capabilities.
  • Be responsible for achieving cost, efficiency and sustainability targets with the identified solutions. 
  • Take ownership of an ambiguous subject matter to deliver clarity, development roadmap and stakeholder support for the proposition. 
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including technical experts to identify solutions that enhance our operational capabilities.
  • Collaborating between operations and external partners to define and execute on core business needs.
  • Help define new and innovative solutions that are aligned delivering both the strategic direction and future operating model.
  • Become a core contributor towards our sustainability roadmap, developing innovative solutions that disrupt industry trends.

About you 

  • Ideally, 3+ years experience working in program management, consulting, operations, logistics, supply-chain or similar fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong skills in operational process design to optimize quality, capacity and cost.  
  • Capable program management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Have analytical skills and are able to make data-driven decisions. 
  • Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Have excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. 
  • Comfortable with high levels of ambiguity, pragmatic decision making and able to learn and pivot quickly. 
  • A team player who is approachable and enjoys building good working relationships with stakeholder teams.

The salary range for this position is  46,800 - € 63,400 gross per year.
