Information about the position 

Vinted’s Finance team is in charge of producing transparent, high-quality financial accounts, as well as contributing towards sustainable operations and company growth.


We are looking for an Accounting Manager who will lead teams of 15 accounts payable (AP) and fixed assets (FA) accounting specialists. The manager should ensure that the company and team objectives are achieved through the tasks performed and nurture the personal and professional development of the team members, while living Vinted values of ownership, co-creation, caring, aiming high and growth.


The ideal candidate would be a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in accounts payable and payments processes, also having knowledge in the fixed assets area, strong leadership skills, and a proactive positive attitude towards participating in projects that drive processes improvements and organisational growth.

In this position, you’ll 

  • Lead teams’ of 15 AP and FA accounting specialists
  • Track teams’ KPIs, plan resources according to increasing volumes and effectively coordinate workload and tasks
  • Ensure the correctness and completeness of the AP, FA tasks performed as well support teams’ members with complex accounting transactions across all Vinted Group entities
  • Together with the Director of Group Accounting work on preparing a strategic plan for AP and FA operations, development and processes improvements
  • Ensure timely tasks completion during month end close
  • Lead the process efficiency, automation, improvements and participate in projects
  • Communicate across teams/departments where needed to align different processes and raise discussions for essential processes review that impact AP and FA accounting areas
  • Communicate with external stakeholders for ad hoc queries requiring a higher level of diplomacy and problem solving skills

About you 

  • At least 6 years of experience in accounting, of which at least 2 years in a leading role
  • Experienced with AP, FA accounting and processes management
  • Firm understanding of the accounting concepts and their cross domain impact to different financial fields
  • Strong team management skills
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively review the work of others, using adequate tools and reconciliation methods
  • Proficient user of MS Excel
  • Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English (our business language)
  • Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic environment
  • Advantage: Knowledge of IFRS
  • Advantage: Experienced with VAT regulations

We’ve adopted a hybrid workplace model where 2 days in office are recommended but not enforced. It’s up to you and your team to decide on the exact days you’ll spend working together in person.
