Marketing Tech Academy
Brief info about Vinted
Our mission is to make second-hand the first choice, and we're looking for people who want to help us get there. Every day, we work together to help our members buy and sell pre-loved clothing and lifestyle items, giving each piece a second life – or even a third.
The Vinted Group is made up of three business units that support this mission:
Vinted Marketplace is Europe’s leading platform for second-hand fashion and a go-to destination for all kinds of pre-loved items, with a growing range of categories. Our platform connects millions of members across 20+ markets, helping great items find a new life.
Vinted Go enhances the shipping experience with a vast network of over 500,000 pick-up and drop-off points, partnering with more than 60 carriers across Europe, with added services like item verification for peace of mind on high-value pieces.
Vinted Pay is the newest part of the Vinted Group, dedicated to bringing secure, reliable payments to buyers and sellers across Europe. Seamlessly integrated into the Vinted app, it helps keep every transaction safe, efficient, and easy for our members.
Founded in 2008 in Lithuania, Vinted began as a way for friends to find new homes for clothes they no longer needed. In 2019, we became Lithuania's first unicorn! Today, our headquarters remain in Vilnius, and we've grown with offices across Europe, supported by a team of over 2,000 people. Our backers include Accel, EQT Growth, Insight Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sprints, and TPG.
Information about the position
What is the Marketing Tech Academy?
Marketing at Vinted operates at a massive scale. We manage millions of users, billions of data points, and hundreds of campaigns across multiple markets. To grow efficiently, we can’t rely on manual work. We need to automate.
We’re looking for 4 entry level specialists to join our Marketing Tech Academy. This is a 12-month talent programme designed to turn you into a technical marketer.
We believe you will be the most successful in automation when you understand the context. That’s why this role is a 50/50 split:
- Marketing immersion: You’ll work as a core member of the designated team, running campaigns, managing budgets, and launching creative assets. You’ll see exactly where the manual friction lies.
- Technical automation: You’ll use that experience to build solutions. Using Python, JavaScript, SQL, or low code solutions like n8n, you’ll automate the tasks you and your team work on.
What will you do?
Marketing operations (the context)
You’ll learn the business by doing the business. Working within our Growth, Brand, or Member Engagement Teams, you’ll:
- Configure and launch advertising campaigns across major ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok), our CRM channels (email, push notifications and much more with Braze and internal tools).
- Track budgets, bids, and measure campaign performance, rigorously A/B test, and optimize. You’ll learn to spot when a campaign is healthy and when it’s wasting budget.
- Coordinate the flow of creative assets from creation in the studio to the live environment, ensuring everything is tagged and tracked correctly.
- Perform pre-launch checks to ensure links work, tracking pixels fire, and audiences are correct.
Technical automation (the solution)
Once you understand the workflow, you’ll improve it. You’ll:
- Write scripts (using Python / JavaScript) to automate repetitive file naming, data cleaning, or bulk uploads.
- Co-design process logic that can work at scale to manage creatives, deployment and planning.
- Build workflows using low-code tools like n8n or Workato to connect our systems (e.g. automatically creating a campaign shell in Google Ads when a ticket is approved).
- Query custom data directly using SQL instead of waiting for reports.
- Design system prompts using LLMs to analyze bulk customer feedback, generate ad copy variations, or audit campaign settings at scale.
Mastering the tech-marketing toolkit
You won’t do this alone. You’ll dedicate a portion of your week to mastering the technical side of marketing, guided by our internal data and automation experts:
- Monthly build sessions: You’ll work with our Automation Leads and Marketing Engineers to review your code and logic.
- Structured learning: You’ll have access to a paid curriculum (Coursera/Udemy) for Python, SQL, and AI prompt engineering.
- The capstone: You’ll complete a mandatory final project where you build a permanent tool that saves your team operational time.
When and where?
This Academy will begin on June 1st, 2026. You will be expected to be available full time from that date. Our preference is to welcome you to the Vilnius office, however, let us know in the selection process if you prefer Kaunas as your primary office location.
About you
We're looking for someone who doesn't feel they fit into one box. If you love code and logic, but also get excited by campaigns, customer journeys, and the way great marketing works - this is the opportunity for you. A pure software development role feels too isolated from the business side of things; you want to see your work drive real outcomes. You're multitalented, you love building structures, and you're energised by applying that logic to marketing problems that actually matter.
- Education: You are about to graduate, or already have a degree in business informatics, economics, data analytics, statistics, or a related technical field.
- Efficiency mindset: You prefer keyboard shortcuts to clicking a mouse. You dislike doing the same manual task three times, so your first instinct is to find a way to automate it.
- Tech foundations: You’re an Excel or Google Sheets power user. You have exposure to code (Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar) from University coursework or personal projects. You understand logic flows (if this, then that).
- Business curiosity: You want to see your technical skills result in real-world growth.
- Language: Excellent written and spoken English.
Recruitment process:
- Online application through our career site, 4-18 of March.
- Online technical assignment, 20-29 of March.
- Online interview, a chance to meet us and deep dive into all-things Vinted & the Academy, mid-end of April.
- Offers are extended by end of April.
Work perks:
- The opportunity to benefit from our share options programme
- 25 working days of holiday
- Access to all the tools & tech needed for work
- Home office support: we provide IT workstation equipment and a personal budget of up to €540 for home workplace furniture
- Private health insurance
- Mental and emotional health support through the Mindletic app
- Frequent team-building events
- A personal monthly budget for shopping on Vinted
- The opportunity to spend up to 90 days per year - 21 of which can be spent working outside of the EU - on workation
- A dog-friendly office
- In Vilnius office: Gym & in-house meals at friendly prices
- In Kaunas office: a monthly lunch allowance, and a once-a-week provided in-house lunch and breakfast
