We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Member Lifecycle (MLC) domain, which owns three core areas: Member Engagement and Communication, New Member Acquisition, and General Vinted Content Capabilities.

This role focuses on Member Engagement and Communication - ensuring members receive relevant, timely, and valuable communication. You’ll lead the Braze team, responsible for:

• Full Braze integration, ownership and maintenance.
• Integrating Braze with other tools (AI features, localisation).
• Enabling teams to deliver targeted, effective lifecycle communications.

You’ll also oversee the Member Lifecycle Communication team (1 Backend Engineer), whose mandate is to increase activation, retention, and cross-activation through automated communications - covering lifecycle segments, strategies, campaigns via Braze, and observability.

Your teams, including backend and frontend engineers, QA, and product managers, have all the competencies to make their own decisions and deliver. Together, you’ll power communications that strengthen member relationships and drive marketplace growth.

• Own delivery management and align with key stakeholders, including internal teams (e.g., Marketing) and external partners (e.g., Braze vendor).
• Maintain the health, growth, and maturity of the team.
• Ensure high standards of engineering quality across all deliverables

• Ensure the team delivers on its commitments and achieves key results.
• Collaborate with other Engineering leads to drive continuous improvements across the engineering organisation.
• Lead the implementation of the technical strategy within the team.
• Maximise the value and capabilities of Braze within Vinted.
• Work with a broad range of stakeholders, including other product teams, marketing, and external partners such as Braze.
• Apply Agile and Lean principles, ensuring the team follows processes that enable effectiveness.
• Support the professional and personal growth of your team through performance and compensation reviews.

• Hands-on engineering experience and a genuine passion for technology, with a strong desire to learn.
• Proven track record of leading a software engineering team and delivering results.
• Skilled at making teams effective, managing scopes, and ensuring successful delivery.
• Experience building teams and hiring new members.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to communicate effectively and manage expectations.
• Proficient in communicating with both technical and management levels.
• Experienced in people management, supporting the growth and development of team members.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and requirements.
• Experience with Braze, communication technologies, or CRM systems is a strong advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

The salary range for this position is €6,258 - €8,475 gross per month.
