Information about the position
In your new role, you will become part of the Financial Operations team which together with another team of Business Analytics is part of the Vinted Go Finance and Business Analytics domain. Together the function is responsible for coordinating the growth strategy, financial planning, operational resource planning, performance measurement, and financial operations for Vinted Go.
The Financial Operations team is responsible for implementing and improving processes to achieve greater efficiency and accuracy, reduce errors and risks, and provide timely and accurate financial information to support better decision-making.
In this position, you’ll
- Perform, control, and validate billing invoice calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and contractual agreements.
- Actively collaborate with stakeholders: Sales, Group Finance, IT, Data Analytics, Customer Support.
- Investigate and resolve billing-related queries raised by internal or external stakeholders.
- Implement and monitor controls to ensure billing accuracy and alignment with accounting standards and audit requirements.
- Conduct reconciliations between billing data and other financial systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) to ensure data consistency and completeness.
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities related to billing, including accruals and revenue recognition inputs.
- Utilise data analysis tools and techniques (Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, BI tools) to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies in data, and propose corrective actions.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and automation in existing billing processes; document and draft process flows and SOPs.
- Participate in the creation and rollout of new processes to support business growth and scalability.
- Assist in system testing, implementation, and upgrades of billing platforms or ERP systems to ensure functionality and data accuracy.
- Provide billing-related reporting and analysis to Finance, Management, and other departments as needed.
About you
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field (equivalent working experience is also acceptable).
- Established experience in finance or related fields.
- Familiar with financial concepts and terminology, experience in finance, accounting, billing areas is preferred.
- Strong understanding of invoicing processes.
- Ability to analyse and interpret large amounts of financial data to provide insights and recommendations.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets.
- Some experience in relevant tools (e.g., NetSuite, Jira, HubSpot, BigQuery, SQL) is considered an advantage.
- Interest in building new processes.
- Organisational skills, ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple ongoing projects.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, highly attentive to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and understand end-to-end processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and management.
- Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English.

The salary range for this position is €2,567 - €3,467 gross per month.
