Information about the position
At Group Security domain we believe that security is a high-scale engineering challenge. We aren’t looking for someone to watch a dashboard; we’re looking for someone to build the dashboard, the data pipeline behind it, and the automated logic that responds to it.
If you are a Software Engineer or SRE who loves breaking things to understand how they work - we want to talk to you. No formal security experience is required.
In this position, you’ll:
- Design, build, and maintain automation and tooling that automate incident response workflows, enrich alerts, and integrate the security stack.
- Use your curiosity to identify anomalous activities.
- Track, research, and experiment with the latest tactics, techniques and procedures for attacking and defending on-prem and cloud environments.
- Mentor and guide other engineers on the team, sharing your expertise and helping to level up collective capabilities.
- Create, track and iterate on metrics that showcase actionable insights to leadership across Vinted.
About you:
- Understanding of how Linux internals work.
- Proficient in software development (e.g., Python, Go).
- Play with CTFs, or harden your own projects.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You don't stop until you understand the why behind a system failure or a bug.
- Can communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and work well in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English.

The salary range for this position is €3,167 - € 4,333 gross per month.
