Operations Manager
Information about the position
As an Operations Manager, you will lead, inspire, and empower your teams while taking full ownership of your shift's daily operations, performance, and safety. This is a highly impactful, hands-on leadership role within Vinted Go's European logistics network, offering significant autonomy and a unique opportunity to contribute to the launch of our largest sorting hub, build high-performing teams, and drive operational excellence in a fast-growing environment.
LIL2 will be Vinted Go's largest European sorting hub, marking a major milestone in our network expansion. Located in Dourges (Pas-de-Calais), just 25 minutes from Lille, this brand-new 60,000 sqm facility is scheduled to open in March 2027. Designed to support our growing parcel volumes, strengthen network resilience, and relieve existing hubs, LIL2 will handle up to 600,000 parcels per day, serving France and the wider European network.
With 350+ employees and up to 130 operatives per shift, the site will combine advanced sorting technologies, automation, and manual operations. For the first time, Vinted Go's sorting and Fulfilment operations will operate under the same roof, creating exciting opportunities for collaboration and operational synergies.
The site's leadership team will consist of 1 Site Leader, 3 Operations Managers, 10 Shift Managers, and 15 Team Leaders, overseeing operations across three fixed shifts (Early, Late, and Night), six days a week (Monday to Saturday).
