Brief info about Vinted

Our mission is to make second-hand the first choice, and we're looking for people who want to help us get there. Every day, we work together to help our members buy and sell pre-loved clothing and lifestyle items, giving each piece a second life – or even a third.
The Vinted Group is made up of three business units that support this mission:

Vinted Marketplace is Europe’s leading platform for second-hand fashion and a go-to destination for all kinds of pre-loved items, with a growing range of categories. Our platform connects millions of members across 20+ markets, helping great items find a new life.

Vinted Go enhances the shipping experience with a vast network of over 500,000 pick-up and drop-off points, partnering with more than 60 carriers across Europe, with added services like item verification for peace of mind on high-value pieces.

Vinted Pay is the newest part of the Vinted Group, dedicated to bringing secure, reliable payments to buyers and sellers across Europe. Seamlessly integrated into the Vinted app, it helps keep every transaction safe, efficient, and easy for our members.

Founded in 2008 in Lithuania, Vinted began as a way for friends to find new homes for clothes they no longer needed. In 2019, we became Lithuania's first unicorn! Today, our headquarters remain in Vilnius, and we've grown with offices across Europe, supported by a team of over 2,000 people.

Information about the position

As Country People Partner, you will provide on-the-ground People/HR and operational support to Vinted Go’s rapidly growing hubs in France. You’ll act as a key local People contact for our warehouse teams, helping bridge the gap between day-to-day operational realities and central People processes.

You will be part of the Country People Partner team and report to the Country People Partner Lead. You’ll work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Transportation, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Workplace Experience, and the wider People team to support workforce administration, time and attendance accuracy, employee relations, and compliance.

This role is highly operational and site-based. It requires strong knowledge of French HR administration, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to build trust with frontline employees and managers in a fast-paced, shift-based warehouse environment.

In this position, you’ll

  • Monitor time and attendance for permanent and temporary workers, in close collaboration with Ops, Maintenance, and Transportation managers.
  • Track and resolve clocking discrepancies in ChronoOps, identify anomalies, and escalate clarified cases to the CPP team to support accurate payroll.
  • Ensure working time compliance, including schedules, shift changes, worked bank holidays, overtime, night shifts, and Sunday work.
  • Support payroll and HR administration, including manual variable pay calculations, onboarding, offboarding, mutual agreements, and work accident follow-up.
  • Manage temporary workforce administration in collaboration with TA, including contract checks, legal motives, signatures, rates, invoice reconciliation, absenteeism tracking, and maximum contract duration monitoring.
  • Provide frontline People support to warehouse employees, including workers who may face language or digital access barriers.
  • Lead weekly People meetings to review headcount, absenteeism, sickness, accidents, behaviours, and key shift-related topics.
  • Support disciplinary and policy processes by collecting relevant information and evidence in collaboration with the CPP team.
  • Act as a People point of contact on the floor, helping ensure company policies, processes, and best practices are understood and followed.
  • Support new hires as a buddy, helping them navigate tools, policies, contacts, and internal information.
  • Partner with Workplace Experience and managers to support local events and rewards for operatives.
  • Support organisational changes such as new warehouse openings, site closures, or new operational activities like EVS and Recommerce.
  • Assist the CPP team with preparation for Works Council meetings when needed.

About you

  • You have experience in a fast-paced logistics, warehouse, industrial, or blue-collar operational environment.
  • You have strong knowledge of French HR administration, including working time regulations, payroll inputs, employment documentation, and disciplinary processes.
  • You are comfortable working with complex administrative topics and ensuring a high level of documentary compliance.
  • You have strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail, especially when reviewing time-tracking data, contracts, invoices, or payroll-related inputs.
  • You are fluent in both French and English, and can act as a communication bridge between local teams and central People stakeholders.
  • You are comfortable working directly on site, close to frontline teams and operational managers.
  • You are empathetic, approachable, and able to build trust with employees in a warehouse environment.
  • You can de-escalate sensitive situations and provide clear, practical People support.
  • You are resilient and comfortable managing a high volume of operational and administrative tasks.
  • You are adaptable and able to work in a fast-moving, evolving, multi-site environment.
  • An experience with temporary workforce management or temp agencies is a plus.
  • An experience with time-tracking tools, HRIS, payroll inputs, or systems such as ChronoOps is a plus.
