Information about the position
We are on the lookout for a Sr Strategy & Planning Manager to help steer our long-term strategic goals. You'll support the VP of Customer Operations and collaborate closely with the Member Support leadership team to design and implement a straightforward, effective strategic planning process. Your role will be central to ensuring our strategic initiatives are well-planned, executed, and communicated across our team and with upper management. You will lead one Individual Contributor.
In this position, you’ll
- Strategy setting & Influence: Work with the VP of Customer Operations and the leadership team to shape and refine our long-term goals, ensuring they align with Vinted’s marketplace objectives.
- Strategic planning: Lead a lean and efficient strategic planning process within the Member Support organisation, ensuring organisational OKRs are set, strategic initiatives are identified, aligned and properly executed.
- Lead key initiatives: Lead key projects in agreement with the Member Support LT. Those could include projects that impact the entire CS organisation effectiveness, or projects focused on a specific sub-division where strategy/planning skills are required.
- Communication: Assist leadership in crafting clear, impactful communication for the Member Support organisation and upper management. Own the communication calendar.
- People leadership: Provide guidance and direction to your direct report, fostering a positive environment that encourages professional growth and development.
About you
- Proven experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Experience in customer support or operations would be considered as a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of making complex information accessible and engaging.
- Strong analytical skills with a knack for turning insights into practical strategies.
- Experience in leading initiatives and ensuring they are executed smoothly across diverse teams.
