Brief info about Vinted
Our mission is to make second-hand the first choice, and we're looking for people who want to help us get there. Every day, we work together to help our members buy and sell pre-loved clothing and lifestyle items, giving each piece a second life – or even a third.
The Vinted Group is made up of three business units that support this mission:
Vinted Marketplace is Europe’s leading platform for second-hand fashion and a go-to destination for all kinds of pre-loved items, with a growing range of categories. Our platform connects millions of members across 20+ markets, helping great items find a new life.
Vinted Go enhances the shipping experience with a vast network of over 500,000 pick-up and drop-off points, partnering with more than 60 carriers across Europe, with added services like item verification for peace of mind on high-value pieces.
Vinted Pay is the newest part of the Vinted Group, dedicated to bringing secure, reliable payments to buyers and sellers across Europe. Seamlessly integrated into the Vinted app, it helps keep every transaction safe, efficient, and easy for our members.
Founded in 2008 in Lithuania, Vinted began as a way for friends to find new homes for clothes they no longer needed. In 2019, we became Lithuania's first unicorn! Today, our headquarters remain in Vilnius, and we've grown with offices across Europe, supported by a team of over 2,000 people. Our backers include Accel, EQT Growth, Insight Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sprints, and TPG.
Information about the position
As an Atlassian Systems Engineer, you will be one of the core specialists and guardians of our collaborative ecosystem. Beyond resolving requests, you’ll focus on building scalable solutions that allow Vinted’s teams to scale. You’ll play a central role in our Atlassian Cloud governance, designing workflows and configurations that bridge the gap between user requirements and technical best practices.
In this position, you’ll
- Design and deploy advanced architectures within Jira, JSM (including Assets), and Confluence. You’ll focus on building "smart" workflows and automations utilizing smart values and JSON payloads to minimize manual overhead.
- Act as the technical lead for connecting Atlassian tools with 3rd party platforms (e.g., Okta, Slack, Workday). While you’ll have support for heavy coding, you should be comfortable discussing REST APIs and data mapping.
- Contribute to the strategic oversight of our Atlassian tools. You’ll listen to user requirements, determine what is technically sustainable, and make (and explain) tough decisions that prioritize system health over quick fixes.
- Use your understanding of IT Service Management and Agile to oversee the "big picture," identifying bottlenecks and implementing long-term improvements across our tooling landscape.
- Keep a close eye on Atlassian product updates and roadmaps. You’ll be the person who knows what’s coming next so that our technical environment is always prepared for new Cloud functionalities.
About you
- You have extensive hands-on experience in Atlassian Cloud Administration (Jira, JSM, Confluence, Assets).
- You are an automation enthusiast. While deep coding isn't the daily focus, you are comfortable with low-code tools (like Jira Automation, Make, N8N, Zapier) and have the logical foundation to explore REST APIs or Custom App Development (via Atlassian Forge) when a native solution isn't enough.
- You excel at Root Cause Analysis (RCA). You don't just fix symptoms, you enjoy digging into the "why" to prevent future issues.
- Understands how Agile & ITIL frameworks apply to modern operations.
- Comfortable collaborating with different teams to refine ideas and ensure technical solutions truly meet their needs.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specs and navigate governance policies comfortably.
Curious who you'll be speaking with?
You’ll meet the people behind this role early in the process:
- Edgaras Skardinskas, who leads the IT Life-cycle & Partnership team and will be your direct manager.
- Justina Kizogian, who will guide you through the hiring process.
