We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help bridge the gap between our core Data Infrastructure and the specific needs of Vinted Pay. As part of the Data Platform Foundations team, you will be the dedicated engineering lead for Vinted Pay data success. You will work on a Shared Platform model, where you adapt Vinted core data components (ML Platform, Experimentation, ingestion tools) to run within the Vinted Pay environment (AWS & GCP). • Own the design, implementation, and operation of data infrastructure components for Vinted Pay
• Build and maintain ingestion and CDC logic for reliable data delivery in AWS/GCP
• Own Vinted Pay Airflow DAGs and dbt models with high reliability and compliance standards
• Work across ML, Experimentation and Impact teams to enable shared tooling adoption
• Support Vinted Payment engineers with Kubernetes deployments and shared platform configuration
• Improve observability, operational readiness and incident response for production systems
• Drive your backlog independently and help shape reusable platform patterns
• You will participate in on-call rotations to ensure our product performs well

• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java
• Experience building and operating data pipelines at scale
• Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform
• Comfortable owning systems in production and working on-call
• Strong communication skills and ability to bridge technical domains
• Nice to have: Kafka, Airflow, ML serving, CDC, regulated environments

The salary range for this position is € 4,817 - € 6,517 gross per month.
