Brief info about Vinted
Our mission is to make second-hand the first choice, and we're looking for people who want to help us get there. Every day, we work together to help our members buy and sell pre-loved clothing and lifestyle items, giving each piece a second life – or even a third.
The Vinted Group is made up of three business units that support this mission:
Vinted Marketplace is Europe’s leading platform for second-hand fashion and a go-to destination for all kinds of pre-loved items, with a growing range of categories. Our platform connects millions of members across 20+ markets, helping great items find a new life.
Vinted Go enhances the shipping experience with a vast network of over 500,000 pick-up and drop-off points, partnering with more than 60 carriers across Europe, with added services like item verification for peace of mind on high-value pieces.
Vinted Pay is the newest part of the Vinted Group, dedicated to bringing secure, reliable payments to buyers and sellers across Europe. Seamlessly integrated into the Vinted app, it helps keep every transaction safe, efficient, and easy for our members.
Founded in 2008 in Lithuania, Vinted began as a way for friends to find new homes for clothes they no longer needed. In 2019, we became Lithuania's first unicorn! Today, our headquarters remain in Vilnius, and we've grown with offices across Europe, supported by a team of over 2,000 people. Our backers include Accel, EQT Growth, Insight Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sprints, and TPG.
Information about the position
Vinted sees design as integral to achieving our mission, which is why our designers are involved at every level, including domain leadership. As our new Product Design Manager within the Supply domain, you will drive the strategy for our entire seller journey—owning the user experience for Listing, Seller Engagement, and Seller Profile.
Your mission is to craft experiences that are useful, usable, and enjoyable, ensuring sellers stay engaged and successful. A critical part of this role is leading the transformation of our upload experience. You will treat AI as a key tactic to solve the "quality vs. speed" paradox, helping your team build intelligent, adaptive flows that guide users from "Snap" to "Sold." This involves collaborating with Taxonomy experts to transition from a 'fashion-first' interface to a category-aware system that asks for the right details at the right time.
You will join the Domain Leadership team to partner with Engineering, Product, and Data Science & Analytics. Beyond your domain duties, you will also contribute to the wider Design Leadership team, advancing our design culture and functional maturity.
In this position, you’ll
- Co-author the domain strategy, positioning design as a driver of both user value and business success.
- Define the UX vision for the Supply domain, ensuring it forms an integral part of wider Product Vision.
- Continuously align priorities and objectives, clarifying exactly what success looks like for the teams to ensure focus on the most impactful work.
- Partner with your cross-functional leadership peers to provide unified direction and feedback to the teams, helping them solve complex problems while maintaining high velocity.
- Serve as the design voice of the domain, reporting progress, insights, and strategic updates to Marketplace Leadership.
- Drive the evolution of AI-assisted experiences, ensuring our listing flows follow best practices in a fast-evolving space and remain transparent and human-centric.
- Partner with Taxonomist & Engineering to ensure our design patterns work seamlessly with a graph based ontology and architecture.
- Build strong connections with other design functions—such as User Research, Content Design, and Comms Design—to ensure we define the right problems and solve them with the right evidence.
- Oversee the craft of the domain, ensuring that we protect our speed while obsessing over quality.
- Recruit, hire, and structure the design team, conducting performance reviews and supporting the professional growth of your designers.
About you
- Proven experience in leading design teams and mentoring designers.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver user-centered solutions that drive business growth.
- Systems Thinker: Proven ability to design for scale and complexity. You understand how to translate backend technical strategies into simple, user-facing mental models.
- You are deeply curious about the evolving AI landscape. You understand how to bridge the gap between complex technology and non-technical users.
- Strong collaboration skills, particularly partnering with marketing, brand, and communication teams to create cohesive brand narratives.
- Deep understanding of user research methodologies and crafting intuitive user experiences.
- Experience using data to inform design decisions, perform A/B testing, and iterate on product features.
- You are able to articulate design decisions and advocate for user needs. To support this, excellent written and verbal English skills are required.
- A mandatory portfolio that showcases your strategic impact and complex problem solving—applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
