We're looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join our Security Technologies team. This platform team builds security-focused services and components, empowering Marketplace engineers to quickly deliver secure products.

In this role, you will be instrumental in driving technical initiatives, building solutions, and developing and maintaining code components. Your primary goal will be to enable Vinted engineers to develop secure services and maintain a secure service ecosystem. • Work in an engineering focused team, lead and contribute to team and domain-level initiatives and shape the features to enable quick and secure development by other engineers.
• Contribute to authentication and authorization features.
• Transform large monoliths into smaller, component-based services, thereby promoting greater team autonomy.
• Monitor and ensure the reliability of your code.
• Provide mentorship and support to engineers to foster their professional development
• See your code affect 80+ million users almost instantly.

• You have hands-on work experience in development or operations at scale. Bonus points for experience in the cybersecurity domain.
• You are driven by curiosity to explore and master new technologies and concepts.
• You are committed to writing clean, maintainable code with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• You have a strong inclination to collaborate with team members, share knowledge and foster a positive, cooperative environment.
• You are willing to take the lead in addressing issues and driving improvements, even without explicit direction.
• You are a great communicator able to get your point across in spoken and written English in diverse contexts.

The salary range for this position is €4,975 - €6,725 gross per month.
