Information about the position
Are you a storyteller, relationship-builder and bursting with creativity? Do you live and breathe social media? We are looking for a Social Media Manager to operate as the cultural voice for Vinted, managing organic consumer-facing social channels and ensuring Vinted shows up natively where people buy, sell, and engage with our brand.
In this position, you’ll
- Be responsible for Vinted’s organic consumer social channels content and strategy, including determining content pillars, formats, tone of voice and visual style and owning the content calendar, keeping Vinted’s consumer social presence fresh, trusted, and dynamic.
- Create culture and trend-reactive content end-to-end (including filming, editing, and occasionally appearing on camera).
- Manage resources, including agencies and freelancers relationships, ensuring consistent messaging and best-in-class execution, and leveraging AI for efficiency.
- Build, moderate and actively engage with our Vinted community to increase positive sentiment.
- Run social listening to spot conversations and issues early, feed insights back into the business with clear recommendations, and partner with Customer Service where needed.
- Partner with internal teams to turn brand assets/activations into organic content; work closely with Influencer Marketing to amplify collaborations organically
- Travel as needed to Vinted offices and events across Europe to be on-the-ground to capture social content that’s culturally relevant.
- Be part of our small but mighty Corporate Affairs team, collaborating with External Comms, Public Affairs and Sustainability to create compelling, integrated consumer campaigns and develop accompanying content.
- This role will report to the Senior Manager, Social Media & Editorial Content, who is a member of the Corporate Affairs Leadership Team.
About you
- You must be able to both brief, create and edit quality organic first content, and be able to represent our brand.
- You stay on top of local and global social conversations and you think community first - able to moderate, engage and show up natively in the conversations.
- Strong storyteller who collaborates well to create integrated campaigns.
- You’re a strategic thinker and able to articulate your evidence, process and plans, and can translate social metrics into strategy and reporting.
- Can manage multiple channels/markets: coordinate agencies/freelancers, prioritize workload, manage budget, and use tools effectively, leveraging AI for efficiency.
- You must be willing to travel and capture content from the ground at events and our offices giving Vinted genuine cultural and local relevance.
- Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) mandatory, additional European languages a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in social media or digital marketing. Bonus points if you have created your own social following and can bring those learnings to this role.

The salary range for this position is € 2,892 - €3,908 gross per month.
