Information about the position
VintedGo has opened its very own parcel centres in Utrecht, Paris and Bordeaux. At the centre, Vinted parcels can be collected and dropped-off by customers. As Team Lead Problem Solving, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the Problem Solve team in our Field Operations. You’ll ensure that operational goals are met by coordinating daily tasks, repairing parcels, and reducing machine kickout rates. This role is crucial in ensuring that parcels are sorted on time and meet quality standards.
You will work closely with the Shift Manager, other operational teams, and external partners to streamline processes, maintain safety and quality standards and continuously improve warehouse efficiency. Acting as a key point of reference on the floor, you’ll guide team members, monitor workflows and help prevent operational errors.
In this position, you’ll
- Assign tasks to operators, ensuring timely completion to required standards.
- Support daily operational processes in receiving, inspecting, sorting, packing, shipping, and handling parcels.
- Comply with safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Lead and train the Problem Solve team.
- Repair parcels within the same day to improve delivery times.
- Reduce the inflow of problem solve parcels and improve departmental efficiency.
- Actively contribute to process improvements.
- Monitor for inconsistencies, report anomalies and resolve operational issues.
- Increase overall operational efficiency by flagging issues and collaborating across teams to reduce problem parcels.
About you
- Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or team leadership.
- Strong understanding of logistics flows and key process stages.
- Skilled in root cause analysis and problem solving.
- Ability to use manual handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Excellent communication skills in English (mandatory) and Dutch.
- Flexible, adaptable and proactive mindset.
- Strong attention to detail, discipline and collaboration skills.
- Advantage: Experience in continuous improvement projects.
