Information about the position
We are building a Payments organisation that moves billions of funds for second-hand items across our markets, an organisation that helps us scale anywhere in Europe through an ecosystem of payments providers, compliance and regulatory controls, and that ensures the right payment experience along the way.
As part of the Payments business unit, the Finance team is looking for a hands-on individual to join us as the Senior Financial Compliance specialist. In this role, you will play an important part in the payments business licensed in Lithuania.
As the Senior Financial Compliance Specialist for Payments, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory financial reporting requirements for the Electronic Money Institution (EMI) in Lithuania, safeguarding user funds, supporting colleagues with financial compliance reporting tasks in other 2 European jurisdictions as well as work on various Vinted Pay projects. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders across Payments Compliance, Payments Finance, and Group Finance to ensure financial compliance.
In this position, you’ll
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the Bank of Lithuania concerning finance and business metrics of Vinted Pay UAB.
- Assure effective processes and controls to safeguard customer funds at Vinted Pay UAB, with reconciliation processes outsourced from the Vinted Group.
- Monitor Vinted Pay UAB capital adequacy and prepare relevant reports for submission to regulators.
- Develop and maintain documentation for compliance procedures and reporting processes.
- Liaise with regulators (Primarily - Bank of Lithuania) and auditors, providing necessary information and addressing inquiries related to compliance reports.
- Monitor updates to relevant financial regulations in Lithuania and implement necessary changes in reporting processes to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Oversee the correct implementation of transfer pricing relating to Vinted Pay subsidiaries.
- Support colleagues on financial compliance matters in two additional European jurisdictions.
- Assist Vinted Pay Finance colleagues with various ongoing projects.
About you
- Experienced in financial reporting, audit, financial planning and analysis, or a similar finance function.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related field.
- Experience in financial compliance or a related role within an EMI or other financial institution is a plus.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and financial compliance in Lithuania is a plus.
- Familiarity with transfer pricing and cost allocation principles is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets. Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and with FP&A tools is a plus.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent written and spoken Lithuanian and English, considering regulatory environment of payments business.

The salary range for this position is € 3,233 - € 4,383 gross per month.
