Information about the position
As Transaction Monitoring Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing transactions for suspicious activities ensuring an effortless and safe Vinted user experience as well as contributing to the company’s safety.
In this position, you’ll
- Conduct daily analysis of concerning patterns and trends associated with suspicious activity related to Vinted customers transactions
- Conduct thorough investigations of flagged transactions to determine if further action is required
- Prepare detailed reports on findings and escalate issues to Senior Transaction Monitoring specialists or directly to the MLRO when necessary
- Stay up-to-date with current AML/CTF regulations and best practices
- Participate in regular testing and tuning of transaction monitoring systems to ensure effectiveness
- Offer assistance to other functions such as KYC whenever required
About you
- Prior experience in transaction monitoring or a related field within the financial services industry.
- Sufficient knowledge of AML/CTF laws and regulations
- Experience with transaction monitoring systems and tools.
- Able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and make quick, informed decisions
- Strong analytical skills to assess data and gain insights
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in English
