Vinted’s Finance team is in charge of producing transparent, high-quality financial accounts, as well as contributing towards sustainable operations and company growth. To keep up with the rapid advancement and increasing complexity of our financial operations, the finance department is looking for a new member.

We are looking for an Accounting associate who will specialise in the primary accounting data review, month closing tasks and communication with our internal and external stakeholders.

• Be responsible for the accounts payable accounting for employee related expenses across multiple countries;
• Be responsible for the employee expense reimbursement management;
• Ensure expenses are accurately allocated to an appropriate expense account;
• Ensure tax (VAT, CIT, PIT) compliance for the assigned area;
• Ensure compliance with the company's key accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls;
• Manage accounting archives;
• Be helping with other accounting routines and financial management tasks;
• Participate in tools implementation and process improvement initiatives;
• Work closely with the accounting team, vendors, and other finance team members.
• Communicating and supporting employees with expenses related questions.

• Passionate about numbers;
• Attentive to detail;
• Entry-level experience gained through the internship or similar role in accounting;
• Understand basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping;
• Have a higher degree in Finance, Economics, Business or Accounting;
• Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English (it’s our working language);
• Proficient user of MS Excel;
• Passionate about technology-driven businesses.

The salary range for this position is € 1,742 - € 2,358 gross per month.
