Information about the position
As Team Lead – Electronics Verification, you will play a key role in managing the assessment and testing of smartphones, tablets, and consoles. You will lead a team within our Technical Operations department, ensuring high-quality standards, efficient workflows, and quick turnaround times. Your leadership will directly contribute to the reliability and speed of our refurbishment processes, ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction.
This position reports to the Strategic EVS Manager and works closely with the Quality Assurance and Process Improvement teams to ensure alignment with broader company goals.
You should have some hands-on technical experience and feel confident leading a small team. Ideally, you’ve worked in a well-structured environment or supported technical processes in IT or operations. Managing people, organizing daily tasks, and solving problems will be a key part of your day-to-day work.
In this position, you’ll
- Lead and support a team, assigning and prioritizing daily tasks to ensure timely and accurate device testing.
- Conduct or oversee functionality checks and diagnostics of electronic devices, ensuring consistent technical assessments.
- Maintain and enforce quality standards within the team, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and performance targets.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and reduce turnaround times through smarter organization and process optimization.
- Collaborate with business and operations teams to help define and implement scalable procedures (SOPs), with future automation in mind.
About you
- You have a strong technical understanding of electronic devices (e.g., smartphones, laptops, consoles), ideally from a background in repairs or refurbishment or quality control.
- You are experienced in leading teams or managing complex processes in technical environments.
- You have a good understanding of both hardware and software-related issues and can guide a team in diagnosing and resolving them efficiently.
- You are process-oriented, detail-driven, and naturally inclined to improve systems and routines.
- You communicate confidently in both English and German.
- Bonus: You’ve worked in structured, quality-focused environments, e.g. for a tech company or in IT service teams managing devices or systems.
