Are you ready to take on the role of an Engineering Manager? At Vinted, our mission is to make second-hand the first choice worldwide. This is a massive effort that relies not only on a great product but also on highly efficient and streamlined internal operations. As an Engineering Manager for the BO SE team, you will be at the forefront of this, empowering our internal teams to work faster, smarter, and with greater impact.
You would be responsible for the team of 4-7 engineers, dedicated to building effective, automation solutions for our core business functions, including Finance, People, Legal, and others. Your role is to bridge the gap between technology and our business teams, identifying opportunities to eliminate manual work, reduce human error, and unlock new levels of efficiency using AI, workflow automation, and process optimization.

In this position, you’ll
- Grow Our Team: Hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of 4–7 engineers focused on internal automation solutions.
- Empower Business Teams: Partner with stakeholders across Finance, People, Legal, and more to understand challenges and deliver technical solutions that reduce manual work and boost efficiency.
- Drive Delivery & Impact: Own the end-to-end delivery of automation projects, from scoping to implementation and ongoing support, ensuring measurable efficiency gains.
- Ensure Engineering Excellence: Shape the technical strategy for internal tools and automation platforms, ensuring scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
- Foster Team Growth: Support engineers’ professional and personal development, especially in AI, workflow automation, and process optimization.
- Champion Innovation: Reimagine workflows, drive adoption of new technologies, and leverage emerging AI capabilities to continuously improve back-office operations.
About you
- Proven experience leading a software engineering team, with a track record of delivering solutions that directly improve business operations.
- You are a strategic thinker who can see the big picture and identify opportunities for automation, even in complex, non-technical processes, or optimizing technical ones.
- Prior experience working closely with internal business stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Finance, People) is a huge plus.
- You have a passion for leveraging technology to solve business problems and a deep empathy for the end-user, even if they are internal colleagues.
- Strong technical foundation, able to guide architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
- Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English, capable of translating technical concepts for a non-technical audience.

The salary range for this position is € 6,258 - € 7,387 gross per month.
