As Senior KYC Specialist, you will be responsible for the implementation of KYC process activities to ensure an effortless and safe Vinted user experience as well as contribute to the company’s safety. 

• Perform due diligence process (including Enhanced Due Diligence and Periodic reviews) on new and existing customers.
• Verify submitted documents, conduct open research and analyze KYC information
• Investigate different types of KYC alerts and make appropriate decisions on resolving it.
• Identify suspicious/unusual activity, prepare a summary and overview of customer’s activity and escalate to MLRO where necessary.
• Assist and contribute towards preparation of KYC related training materials.
• Provide grounded written conclusions and proposals for further KYC-related risk mitigating measures.
• Support and advise internal stakeholders on KYC related issues.
• Contribute towards the development of internal policies and processes by co-owning projects
• Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparing necessary documentation and reports
• Drive KYC process improvements and contribute towards the QA process.

• Prior experience (at least 3 years) in KYC, compliance or a related field within the financial services industry.
• Deep understanding of KYC procedures in day-to-day tasks.
• Knowledge and understanding of AML risk factors, ability to identify and articulate risk-increasing factors.
• Able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and make quick, informed decisions 
• Able to state arguments for presented conclusions or recommendations.
• Strong time management and organizational skills 
• Attention to details and the ability to handle large amounts of information.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment 
• Fluent in English
