Our story began in Lithuania in 2008 when Milda Mitkutė, preparing to move to a new house, realised she had too many clothes to bring with her to her new space. She came up with the idea of creating an online platform for her friends to choose the pieces they’d like. At a party, Milda pitched the idea to Justas Jankauskas, who offered to handle the technical side – and that’s how Vinted was born.
What began as a simple idea has now become one of Europe’s largest second-hand platforms, powered by over 2,000 employees across multiple countries. We now help millions to buy and sell more than just clothes – with a few taps, you can find everything from electronics and entertainment items to furniture, homeware, collectables, kids’ toys, pet care supplies, and more.
