Strategy & Planning Manager, Community Support
Brief info about Vinted
Our mission is to make second-hand the first choice, and we're looking for people who want to help us get there. Every day, we work together to help our members buy and sell pre-loved clothing and lifestyle items, giving each piece a second life – or even a third.
The Vinted Group is made up of three business units that support this mission:
Vinted Marketplace is Europe’s leading platform for second-hand fashion and a go-to destination for all kinds of pre-loved items, with a growing range of categories. Our platform connects millions of members across 20+ markets, helping great items find a new life.
Vinted Go enhances the shipping experience with a vast network of over 500,000 pick-up and drop-off points, partnering with more than 60 carriers across Europe, with added services like item verification for peace of mind on high-value pieces.
Vinted Pay is the newest part of the Vinted Group, dedicated to bringing secure, reliable payments to buyers and sellers across Europe. Seamlessly integrated into the Vinted app, it helps keep every transaction safe, efficient, and easy for our members.
Founded in 2008 in Lithuania, Vinted began as a way for friends to find new homes for clothes they no longer needed. In 2019, we became Lithuania's first unicorn! Today, our headquarters remain in Vilnius, and we've grown with offices across Europe, supported by a team of over 2,000 people. Our backers include Accel, EQT Growth, Insight Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sprints, and TPG.
Information about the position
We’re looking for a team member to join our new Strategy & Planning function in Community Support. Community Support is the member-facing organisation of Vinted Group’s offerings across Marketplace, Vinted Go and Vinted Pay. Community Support ensures that members can access helpful support for any issues they face on the platform, as well as keeping members safe as they use the platform. Our team works directly with the VP of Community Support and the leadership team to:
- Help set the strategic direction for the next 1–3 years. This involves defining focus areas that achieve our cost and quality goals and solving complex strategic questions.
- Drive business performance cadence and governance. We run the strategy cycle and track progress against strategic objectives using OKRs and KPIs across Community Support.
- Build and evolve our strategy craft. We improve processes, grow strategic skills, and foster a culture of effective decision-making.
As a Strategy & Planning Manager in Community Support, you’ll help create clarity on our strategic direction by turning complex questions into structured analyses, decision-ready recommendations, and business cases. You’ll also own key inputs to executive reporting and governance so we can track execution against OKRs and KPIs. As we’re defining how our team works, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape and refine our planning and reporting processes while partnering closely with senior stakeholders on discrete, high-impact workstreams. This is an individual contributor role (no direct reports).
In this position, you’ll
- Lead discrete, ambiguous strategic analyses and business cases from problem definition to practical recommendations, in partnership with a senior leader.
- Support our strategic operating rhythm by facilitating monthly OKR/KPI reporting and contributing to annual planning with analysis and materials, synthesising progress into actionable updates.
- Maintain and improve strategic financial models with Finance and Operations to validate inputs and surface strategic trade-offs.
- Prepare materials for strategic discussions and workshops, ensuring leadership has the necessary data, pre-reads, and content to support alignment on priorities. Capture decisions, owners, and follow-ups to ensure progress.
- Conduct market and competitor research to deliver insights on technology and consumer trends that help sharpen our strategy.
- Develop high-quality strategy materials and executive presentations to support senior leadership reporting processes.
About you

- 4+ years’ experience in a high-performance environment (e.g., management consulting, online/e-commerce, or an in-house strategy team). This is an ideal role for a high-potential Senior Associate ready to independently own discrete strategic workstreams and partner closely with senior stakeholders.
- Structured thinker comfortable in an ambiguous, fast-changing environment; eager to contribute to new processes and workflows as we establish our strategic discipline.
- Proven ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders from a variety of departments (Operations, Finance, Product, Data, Engineering and Design).
- Expertise in distilling complex information into actionable insights and presenting data clearly to all seniority levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and quantitative business case modeling (advanced Excel skills).
- A track record of creating high-quality materials and templates in Google Slides, Docs or Sheets to support and guide teams with strategic prioritisation and planning
