Information about the position
The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for the bottom of the funnel sales activities, establishing contact with mature leads (establishments willing to join the Vinted Go Network) and closing contracts with the aforementioned, online mostly, but also in person. As part of the Network Expansion & Optimisation Team, you will work closely with all other sales and deployment functions to accelerate and optimise the development of our network of PUDO points. Success in this role demands a strong commercial acumen and the ability to close a significant number of high-quality deals in a fast-paced environment.
In this position, you’ll
- Sales Development: Manage bottom of the funnel sales activities for mature leads (locations). Sign partnership contracts with businesses, retailers, property owners, and other organisations to expand the Vinted Go network across the Benelux region.
- Network Expansion: Maximise the conversion rate from initial conversations with potential Vinted Go locations to the signing of contracts, with the aim of growing our network in Belgium and the Netherlands.
- Network Optimisation: Ensure that locations that partner with us are quality locations that adhere to our strict set of prerequisites and support our goal to shape the best possible network across Europe (attractive locations, good opening hours etc...).
- Cross-team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including lead generation, product, deployment and operations teams to ensure successful partnership launch; and closely work with external agencies to ensure they deliver optimal performance.
- Performance Analysis: Closely monitor your contribution to key performance metrics, daily individual effort metrics, and regularly reflect on your work and the work of external sales agents, being proactive in suggesting new processes and ideas to foster individual and collective performance.
About you
- Experience of at least 2 years in a sales role
- Enthusiasm for driving revenue growth and achieving targets in a dynamic environment
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, marketing, or a related field
- Proven track record of working in a fast-paced sales environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrating a willingness to take ownership and drive results
- Experience in using CRM systems (ideally Hubspot), Google Suite, Slack and other relevant software applications
