Information about the position
Vinted’s Finance team is in charge of producing transparent, high-quality financial accounts, as well as contributing towards sustainable operations and company growth. To keep up with the rapid advancement and increasing complexity of our financial operations, the finance department is looking for a new member.
We are looking for a Tax accountant, who would be helping to ensure tax compliance for our companies in Poland, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Lithuania, France, Spain, Luxembourg, US and Canada.
In this position, you’ll
- Assist in gathering, analysing, and summarising information on a monthly and quarterly basis to be provided to external consultants for foreign VAT/GST and US Sales Tax return preparation
- Communicate with the external consultants regarding the periodical VAT/GST and US Sales Tax compliance (data collection and provision, follow-up on the return submission, and payment/refund)
- Assist in managing VAT/GST and US Sales Tax related balance sheet accounts on our GL, including preparation of month-close procedures, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Work with our accounting software (NetSuite), and accounting reconciliation software (FloQast) to ensure indirect tax compliance of all foreign group companies
- Collaborate with other internal accounting teams supporting on tax related audit request and other ad-hoc request for tax data collection, checks and analysis
- Help with other accounting routines and financial management tasks
About you
- Degree in accounting or equivalent
- Have experience in accounting and tax area
- Knowledge of tax treatment according to tax laws (VAT, corporate income tax)
- Proficient user of MS Excel (Advantage: Knowledge of Excel VBA)
- Attention to detail
- Curious about working in a dynamic environment
- Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English
- Advantage: Knowledge of EU VAT or US sales tax

The salary range for this position is € 2,483 - € 3,358 gross per month.
