As the Manager of Data Science & Analytics for the Marketing Modelling Intelligence team, you will lead a group of Data and Decision Scientists. Your team will focus on developing statistical and business models, including key frameworks like Media Mix Models (MMM), to assess marketing success, conduct advanced data analysis, and uphold the integrity of our marketing data.

Reporting directly to the Director of DSA, Marketing, you will have the autonomy needed to pivot and refine our approach to measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. In close collaboration with Vinted’s Growth Marketing leadership and Marketing Operations Planning team, you will play an essential role in shaping and executing marketing strategies that encourage sustainable consumption on a global scale.

• Mentor and lead a strong team of marketing data and decision scientists.
• Guide the development of marketing models (Media Mix, ROI/ROAS, Paybacks) to measure marketing performance.
• Ensure data accessibility and accurate automated reporting of campaign performances.
• Lead your team in getting the analytical insights turned into marketing strategy and tactical decisions.
• Ensure Marketing support with analytical deep dives about campaign performances.
• Drive the team’s roadmap, planning and prioritisation to deliver strategic long-term and tactical (and unplanned) short-term projects.
• Contribute to data strategies: In collaboration with Marketing DSA and Marketing leadership, help develop Marketing and Marketing DSA strategies.

• Extensive hands-on experience with data science and analytics projects
• Proven track record of leading data science or data analytics teams
• A good communicator who can present results in an informative and persuasive way to a wide range of stakeholders
• Proven track record of delivering data-driven business recommendations and selling them to the management
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritise with limited resources
• Highly results-oriented
• Good understanding of statistics and statistical modelling.
• Bonus: Previous experience with Marketing Analytics, in particular, MMMs and ROI/ROAS models

The salary range for this position is € 5,833 - € 7,883 gross per month.
