Information about the position
The People Lead will be responsible for managing and guiding a remote team of International Strategic Account Managers and Key Account Managers. This leadership role focuses on supporting team members in achieving high performance, fostering their professional development, and driving the success of account management practices. You will play a critical role in ensuring alignment with organizational goals while maintaining a strong team culture.
In this position, you’ll
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Strategic Account Managers and Key Account Managers, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews to support professional growth and address any challenges.
- Identify and provide opportunities for skill development and career advancement within the team.
- Collaborate with senior management to define and implement account management strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary resources and tools to succeed in managing strategic and key accounts effectively.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to enhance service delivery to clients.
- Monitor team performance, utilizing data and insights to provide actionable feedback and recommendations.
- Oversee the creation and execution of comprehensive account plans by team members, ensuring alignment with client objectives and organizational goals.
- Support team members in negotiating and closing contracts to maximize profitability and maintain long-term client partnerships.
- Serve as an escalation point for client issues, providing guidance to resolve challenges promptly and effectively.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders at large enterprises, identifying opportunities to expand partnerships.
- Utilize data analysis to make informed decisions at scale, ensuring that strategic initiatives are supported by actionable insights and contribute to business growth.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market shifts to proactively guide the team and address client needs.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. A Masters Degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in a leadership role (3 years minimum) within a high performing account management, sales, or customer success environment.
- Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop high-performing remote teams.
- Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools.
- A proactive and self-motivated leader with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.
