Information about the position 

Do you know how to craft a story? Can you help us elevate our organic content efforts into a newsroom-worthy conversation? We are looking for someone to lead our small but mighty social media and editorial content team, capable of creating and executing global editorial strategies. This role will sit on the Corporate Affairs leadership team and will be a key voice in shaping the overall Corporate Affairs strategy. 

In this position, you’ll 

  • Lead the organic social media team, and run a high-performing content engine to support our corporate, cultural and consumer storytelling. 
  • Create our corporate content, by turning our corporate narratives into compelling writing and visual assets.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Comms team to shape and support the social presence of senior leaders, particularly on LinkedIn.
  • Have overall responsibility for strategy, tone, and reputation across our owned online content and social media channels. This includes supporting the consumer social media manager in your team to set content pillars and consumer tone of voice, determining crisis strategy and responses, and writing and managing high-stakes output.
  • Use external trends and audience insights to inform content strategy and broader business decisions, ensuring relevance.
  • Be a key member of the corporate affairs leadership team, contributing to the overall external narrative and strategy for Vinted, and supporting Corporate Affairs operations and processes.
  • Interface with senior stakeholders, including C-level, and work cross-functionally with Brand Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Public Affairs, External Communications, Employee Brand and Sustainability to create a cohesive external story.
  • Define clear objectives, KPIs, and a measurement framework to track performance and optimize content output, and manage reporting to demonstrate ROI.
  • Manage resources, including overseeing agency and freelancer relationships, ensuring consistent messaging and best-in-class execution, and leveraging AI for efficiency.
  • Push us to think differently and more creatively in how and where we tell our stories.

About you

  • You are an excellent writer and communicator, you can turn info into compelling copy and visual content. You know how to tell a story.
  • You have a deep sense of the external conversation and cultural context in which Vinted operates. You use this to ensure that our strategies land and are culturally relevant and sensitive in tone.
  • You can translate the business strategy into a measurement framework for your team, and use KPIs and metrics to demonstrate ROI and progress against your goals. 
  • You have experience managing senior stakeholders, advising on high-stakes communications, and have demonstrated excellent judgement in these situations.
  • You have experience in managing people, and creating a supportive environment to get the best out of your team.
  • You possess fluency in English, both written and verbal. This is essential for creating engaging content, clear messaging, and effective audience interaction. Proficiency in any additional European languages is a plus.
  • You are confident using data and insights to measure performance, iterate on content, and inform broader strategy.
  • You bring a strong sense of cultural awareness and creativity, with an eye for content that earns attention and drives conversation.
  • For a role like this, we ideally look for someone with 6+ years of experience in newsrooms, editorial roles, social media or digital marketing roles. Consumer sector experience is a plus.
