Information about the position
We’re looking for a Product Manager with sharp analytical thinking and a strong UX mindset to join our Search team. You’ll be one of two PMs working in a ~20-person team dedicated to helping users find what they’re looking for in a catalogue of over 1 billion listings.
Search is a core part of the Vinted experience — it’s how members primarily discover items they love and how sellers connect with the right buyers. In this role, you’ll take ownership of several key components of the search experience.
This role sits at the intersection of user experience, data, and system design and offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-impact problems and contribute meaningfully to our mission of making second-hand the first choice worldwide. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, designers, researchers, and legal/compliance partners to shape features that are both intuitive for users and scalable for our growing platform.
In this position, you will:
- Own the development of the search interface, including the search toolbar, search suggestions, saved/recent searches, and more
- Explore and implement innovative search methods, such as image search, to enhance the user experience
- Work alongside the existing PM, ensuring alignment between the interface and the backend systems powering search
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop, prioritise, and execute the search strategy
- Utilize data and user feedback to iteratively improve the search interface and introduce engaging features
- Define and measure key performance metrics and regularly evaluate the effectiveness of search functionalities
- Manage the product backlog and roadmap, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals
- Conduct product discovery sessions to identify pain points and areas for improvement, working closely with design and UX teams to ensure an intuitive and efficient search interface
- Communicate progress, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders across the company
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in search to drive continuous improvement
About you:
- At least 2 years of experience in product management, preferably within e-commerce or a tech-driven environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilise data to drive decisions and evaluate solutions
- Confident collaborating with engineering and data peers on technically complex topics
- Structured in your thinking, with a strong sense for how systems fit together
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable recommendations
- A proactive mindset with an eagerness to innovate and improve the user experience
- Familiarity or interest in search technologies and user

The salary range for this position is € 3,950 - € 5,350 gross per month.
