Information about the position
You’ll join the Marketplace Payments Fraud Prevention team, responsible for transaction monitoring, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and driving fraud prevention operational improvements. As a Fraud Prevention Specialist, you will identify and mitigate fraudulent activities in different markets and contribute to member safety.
In this position, you’ll
- Monitor the platform to identify and investigate fraudulent activities and patterns.
- Analyse cases to identify and prevent fraudulent or other suspicious activities, documenting findings for future reference.
- Solve internal and external escalations, acting as a point of contact for fraud-related queries.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as DSA, CS, and other teams to resolve fraud cases efficiently.
- Support fraud prevention process improvements, contributing ideas to enhance detection methods.
About you
- Experience in fraud prevention, financial crime prevention, or a related field (e.g., risk, compliance, or customer support with fraud exposure).
- Strong analytical skills to assess data and gain insights, with a willingness to learn fraud tools and techniques.
- Able to handle tasks efficiently and make quick, informed decisions based on guidelines.
- Strong communication skills to share and gather information across teams.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, able to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proactive mindset and can-do attitude, eager to grow in the fraud prevention field.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to change.
- Fluent in English

The salary range for this position is € € 1900- € 2400 gross per month.
