Information about the position 

Ready to dive into building a safer Vinted for over 80 million users? 

Join our Trust team and help us create a rock-solid moderation platform to tackle harmful content. You'll play a key role in making second-hand the top choice for everyone. Plus, you'll be part of a super active engineering crew who loves sharing knowledge and learning together.

In this position, you’ll 

  • Work with the latest versions of React, Redux, Jest, React Testing Library, Next.js, and other tools. 
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional team, working closely with backend engineers, QA engineers, and professionals in product and design.
  • Establish the technical direction for web development within the team, ensuring it aligns with the company's overall technical strategy.
  • Improve code quality and address inconsistencies to ensure a seamless development experience and improved overall performance.
  • Experience the immediate impact of your code, as our master branch is deployed directly to production with each merge, allowing for multiple deployments per day.

About you 

  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of Web development principles and React best practices.
  • Capable of leading web development initiatives within the team and participating actively in cross-functional projects alongside other web engineers.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in both oral and written English communication, and collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Exhibit a strong propensity to collaborate with team members, share knowledge, and cultivate a positive and cooperative work environment.
  • Be a proactive self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and take the initiative to advance projects.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to producing clean, maintainable code, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Advantage: Experience with Generative AI.
