Information about the position
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help evolve and maintain Vinted’s infrastructure. Currently, we manage over 7,000 physical servers running multiple platforms across various regions. We also use multiple cloud providers to extend our on-premises infrastructure. As part of the Observability Infra team, you’ll work with us on maintaining large scale observability infrastructure and related tooling. In this position, you’ll
- Maintain observability solutions including Elasticsearch, Thanos, OTEL Collector, Vector in an environment where conventional solutions fall short
- Contribute to the design and development of the Prometheus and Thanos-based metric platform
- Contribute to the adoption of OpenTelemetry based distributed tracing and APM systems.
- Scale the fleet-wide logs and events collection pipeline and the centralized log management stack ingesting 40TB of data per day
- Build management tools and implement self-service capabilities for Observability services listed above.
- Solve a range of performance issues in our platforms as the infrastructure grows and converges to the multiregional level
- Participate in on-call rotation for observability products every 5-7 weeks
About you
- Hands on work experience in developing or operating at scale
- Approaching technology solutions options with flexibility and open-mindedness
- A curious and responsible individual who wants to learn and master the concepts and technologies we use
- Programming fundamentals, preferably in Go or Ruby, but we will consider other languages
- You could be a Backend Engineer who wants to explore becoming a Site Reliability Engineer
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems

The salary range for this position is €2,575 - €4,808 gross per month.
