Information about the position 

We’re searching for an in-house Legal Counsel with a focus on employment law to join our Legal team. 

As part of Vinted’s Legal team, you’ll be working closely with people across the company, especially with our HR and Payroll teams, as well as a network of external advisors. You’ll be charged with identifying, analysing and mitigating legal risks and working towards the sustainable growth of Vinted’s marketplace worldwide. You’ll form a key part of the Employment Legal team.

We’re looking for someone with ambition, strong communication, attention to detail, and a firm commitment to finding big-picture solutions. For the right candidate, this will be both a challenging and rewarding role.

In this position, you’ll 

  • Contribute to the broad range of employment matters of the Vinted group, including identifying and addressing relevant legal risks in areas such as recruitment, employment contract, and labour law compliance
  • Provide support to HR, Payroll and other teams on labour law related matters
  • Draft, review, and update a range of employment-related agreements, policies, and procedures.
  • Handle assigned legal issues across all jurisdictions where Vinted operates 
  • Collaborate with the Legal, Payroll and People teams on various legal issues beyond your core expertise
  • Asist the Employment legal team with research, monitoring legislative changes and building the internal knowledge base
  • Work closely with external counsels on the matters listed above

About you 

  • A lawyer with 3+ years of experience in a law firm or as an in-house counsel, specialising in labour law
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Lithuanian employment law and EU regulations
  • A plus: Proficiency in German or Dutch
  • Capable of owning legal issues across many different jurisdictions, driving projects and collaborating effectively with team members and colleagues across the business
  • Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English
  • Someone who’s ready to commit and take accountability
  • Someone who seeks out additional responsibility and uses initiative to problem solve and future proof the business
  • Strong attention to detail
