As Senior Transaction Monitoring Specialist. you’ll become a part of the quickly growing company responsible for acting as the payments service platform, enabling any transaction at Vinted to succeed. As a Transaction Monitoring Specialist you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing transactions for suspicious activities ensuring an effortless and safe Vinted user experience as well as contributing to the company’s safety. 

• Conduct daily analysis of concerning patterns and trends associated with suspicious activity related to customers transactions including QA checks.
• Conduct thorough investigations of flagged transactions to determine if further actions are required
• Prepare detailed summaries on findings and escalate issues to the MLRO as necessary.
• Stay up-to-date with current AML/CTF regulations and best practices
• Collaborate on implementation of improvements of internal processes for transaction monitoring
• Contribute towards development of internal policies and processes.
• Participate in testing and tuning of transaction monitoring systems to ensure effectiveness
• Participate in development and delivery of training programs for new and existing colleagues on transaction monitoring and AML/CTF best practices
• Provide operational support during internal and external audits, including preparing necessary documentation and reports

• Extensive experience in the AML/CTF transaction monitoring, compliance, or a related field within the financial services industry.
• Having a strong understanding of AML/CTF laws and regulations.
• Experience with transaction monitoring systems and tools.
• Able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and make quick, informed decisions 
• Strong analytical skills to assess data and gain insights
• Strong verbal communication and appropriate skills to make your point and successfully pitch your ideas 
• Strong time management and organizational skills 
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Individual Learning Budget

Hybrid Work 

We’ve adopted a hybrid workplace model where 2 days in office are recommended but not enforced. It’s up to you and your team to decide on the exact days you’ll spend working together in person.
