Information about the position
As a Operations Improvement Associate, you will be responsible for supporting our team with day-to-day operational tasks and improving workflow efficiency through automation. You will join our operations team, working closely with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient processes across the company.
In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to enhance operational workflows, develop automation tools, and maintain custom solutions that contribute to the company’s overall efficiency and productivity.
In this position, you’ll
- Assist with routine daily operations and administrative tasks.
- Perform data analysis to provide key insights for business improvement opportunities.
- Improve and streamline workflows by developing and implementing automated solutions.
- Create and maintain Excel macros and Excel-based automation tools.
- Develop custom solutions within Google Workspace applications.
- Use Google AppScript to automate and streamline processes.
- Write and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of solutions.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify opportunities for process improvement.
About you
- Comfortable operation on HBO level, a diploma in logistical engineering, data science or logistics or similar is a plus.
- Have an analytical mindset with an eye for detail and enjoy solving process improvement challenges.
- Affinity with logistics is an advantage, but not a must.
- Experience with Google Apps Script and Google Workspace APIs.
- Proficiency in Excel, including creating and managing macros.
- Comfortable with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) for automation tasks is a plus.
- Experience in writing and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and well-organized.
- Fluent in Dutch and excellent written and spoken English.
