Information about the position
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a highly skilled team at Vinted responsible for the Developer Portal – an internal product that optimizes engineers' work. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our ways of working, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency and quality.

In this position, you’ll:
- Set an ambitious yet realistic vision, strategy, and goals
- Lead two-way dialogues with stakeholders and users
- Drive the discovery, prioritization, and delivery within your team
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of Vinted engineers, implement solutions, and measure success
- Represent the team and its function both inside and outside the company
- Build and maintain a team that trusts each other, cares about results, and is not afraid of conflict, commitment, and accountability
- Focus on the professional and personal growth of your team, conduct one-on-one meetings, and perform performance and compensation reviews

In practice, it means:
- Lead the team of 4-6 engineers
- Ensure the team’s direction, discovery and delivery
- Drive crucial cross-domain initiatives and ensure their timely delivery
- Apply Agile and Lean principles in your work and ensure the team has a set of processes that enables them to be effective
- Focus on the professional and personal growth of your team and yourself, including conducting performance and compensation reviews
About you
- Proven experience leading a software engineering team and delivering results
- You possess strong people management skills - have experience ensuring the development of team members
- Have a technical background and experience as an engineer
- Project management experience delivery on cross-department initiatives

- Know how to effectively manage stakeholders, scope, priorities, and deliverables

- Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English
- Experience working with Kubernetes, containers and continuous delivery systems would be a benefit

The salary range for this position is €5,892 - €8,475 gross per month.
