Information about the position
The Shift Manager ensures the smooth operation of processes and embodies the Vinted Go culture in their daily behavior. They adhere to safety, quality, and production standards while continually contributing to warehouse operations improvement. At each step, they ensure consistency in their work and tasks to alert for any detected anomalies and avoid potential errors.
We are looking for a Shift Manager for our warehouse located in Élancourt (78), who can supervise operations and teams during the night shift.
In this position, you’ll
- Ensure the safety, compliance, and readiness of the site by ensuring all employees adhere to Vinted Go’s safety policies and procedures, as well as legal compliance.
- Ensure that the site and all equipment are in good working condition and that repairs are carried out promptly.
- Ensure execution excellence by supervising the work of their team and ensuring all tasks are carried out efficiently and to high standards.
- Supervise and motivate the team.
- Identify recruitment needs and implement necessary training actions to maintain site competitiveness and team development.
- Manage reporting by monitoring the performance of their role and the warehouse overall, analyzing data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Handle scheduling by recording worked hours of permanent employees for payroll and temporary employees for agency billing.
- Ensure sufficient workforce is scheduled to meet business needs and ensure team adherence to the schedule.
- Oversee site supply by monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely ordering of supplies to avoid shortages.
- Be responsible for the customer experience by addressing customer complaints or issues.
- Promote continuous improvement by participating in workshops and projects, contributing to technical teams and projects, and coordinating changes.
About you
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in operations, logistics/supply chain, or another relevant field.
- Experience in a similar position (warehouse supervisor) is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety policies and procedures specific to logistics warehouses.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with receiving, storing, order preparation, packing, and shipping operations.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
- Knowledge of productivity standards and key performance indicators (KPIs) used in logistics warehouses.
- Proficiency in French and English.
- Strong leadership potential or skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team to achieve goals.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Advanced short-term and long-term problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with different stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively manage changing priorities.
- Ability to take initiative and contribute to continuous improvement.

The salary range for this position is € 35,400 – € 48,000 gross per year.
