What is the Engineering Academy?

The Engineering Academy programme has been designed with the aim of accelerating your tech career at Vinted. It will consist of intensive, hands-on training sessions led by our own staff who will act as internal mentors to guide you through our technology and ways of working. An initial 2 month induction will cover a wide range of topics, beginning from best practices with Git and ending with how Kubernetes work at Vinted. The programme will be challenging and engaging, and will provide you with a solid foundation to hit the ground running in your future teams!

These are permanent paid roles - after the Engineering Academy finishes you will continue to be employed at Vinted and use the skills you have gained to progress your career.

The Engineering Academy itself lasts for 12 months and starts with 2 month technical induction, followed by a development plan where you will be supported with mentors, interpersonal skills training and bespoke learning sessions. To ensure that all participants have the best possible experience, we will be conducting the Engineering Academy in a variety of formats, including in-person training, online streams, some self-study and a lot of practical synthetic and real tasks.
