Information about the position 

We're looking for an Observability engineering team manager to lead a highly skilled team at Vinted responsible for the Observability products and tooling. In this position you will play a pivotal role in shaping our development lifecycle, ensuring the highest standards of reliability, efficiency, and scalability. In this position, you’ll 

  • Build and maintain a team that trusts each other, cares about results, and is not afraid of conflict, commitment, and accountability. 
  • Set ambitious but realistic goals.
  • Define clear priorities for your team.
  • Focus on the professional and personal growth of your team, conduct 1-1 meetings, performance and compensation reviews.
  • Represent the team and its function inside and outside the company.
  • Maintain working relationships with our partners and service providers to get the best service available.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement to our infrastructure and build solutions to implement them.

About you 

  • Team management experience.
  • Previous hands-on engineering experience.
  • Empathy to people you lead.
  • Good track record of consistent delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience working with Kubernetes, containers and continuous delivery systems would be a benefit.

Vinted will set aside a yearly sum equal to 13.2% of your annual salary to be invested in your continuous professional development. You’ll be able to take the initiative to use it for covering relevant learning activities that benefit your role.

Hybrid Work

We’ve adopted a hybrid workplace model where 2 days in the office are recommended but not enforced. It’s up to you and your team to decide on the exact days you’ll spend working together in person.
