Information about the position 

As a Finance Manager of Cost Management, you will be pivotal in elevating Vinted’s cost management strategy. Reporting to the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Procurement, you will lead Vinted’s cost planning, reporting, and budget control while collaborating closely with teams across the organization. This is a two-year fixed-term contract.

In this position, you’ll 

  • Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes for Vinted’s Group cost.
  • Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
  • Ensure that the Group’s cost control and analysis processes help to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Align reporting with the needs of stakeholders.
  • Drive automation, self-service reporting and implementation of best practices across multiple processes.
  • Assess the financial impact of various business changes and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally at all levels of the organisation.

About you 

  • 7+ years of experience in the financial field (Cost Management and FP&A experience preferred) or management consulting.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field, such as economics/finance, mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
  • Management experience is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial statements and metrics.
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with a good understanding of finance-related IT solutions. Experience with Accounting, FP&A&BI tools and SQL knowledge is preferred (Oracle Netsuite, Looker). 
  • Experience in change management and process optimisation.   
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English.

The salary range for this position is € 73,100 - € 98,900 gross per year.
