Information about the position 

As part of the VGo Business finance control team you will be responsible for analyzing and providing insights on various financial items as well as acting as a bridge between meeting product stakeholder needs and ensuring financial compliance and adequate controls. We are looking for someone who has a good technical background in financial reporting and compliance, who enjoys collaborating with product stakeholders and taking on creative challenges together with the team.

In this position, you’ll 

  • Be providing financial performance insights for Group and standalone shipping business
  • Work closely with VGo business regarding revenue and costs overview, as well as related matters
  • Be responsible for controllership over accounting data/variance/ and treatment
  • Review shipping providers contracts from the financial perspective
  • Represent finance in various Vinted Product projects concerning shipping part
  • Help with improvement of the internal finance processes by pointing out and implementing solutions
  • Cooperate with colleagues from other departments on finance related matters
  • Collaborate with accountants, external auditors and other finance team members

About you 

  • At least 5 years of experience in the finance or related field
  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business or Accounting
  • Passion for numbers and attention to detail
  • Experience working with large and complex data sets,  reporting as well as identifying risks and creating mitigating control environments
  • Willingness to strengthen both, reporting compliance and analytics skills
  • Interest in a multi-jurisdictional aspect of the finance role
  • Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Passion for technology-driven businesses
  • SQL or other query languages (MySQL, BigQuery and etc.) would be and advantage

The salary range for this position is € 3,175 - € 4,292 gross per month.
