Information about the position 

We’re looking for an User Research Manager to join the Vinted Research team, that is comprised of User Researchers, Market Researchers and Research Operations Specialists. Our team mission is to voice our current and prospective users and enable user-centric decision making by delivering accurate and actionable insights.

You will lead a team of 7 User Researchers embedded in various Vinted Product domains, while still working as centralised craft. Our work is integrated in he product development lifecycle and we collaborate with cross-functional partners from Product Design, Content Design, Product Management, Data Science and Engineering.

In this position, you’ll 

  • Lead user researchers, providing guidance and mentorship, driving performance evaluations, and supporting their career growth.  
  • Ensure the team delivers according to the roadmap and provides high-quality outputs.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leads, ensuring alignment and integration of research insights into the product.  
  • Identify and prioritising research opportunities, ensure the team works on impactful projects. 
  • Coordinate and delegating research resources, especially during pick periods or ad-hoc projects. 
  • Represent user research, advocating and spreading research insights across the wider organisation and ensuring insights inform decision making at various levels. 
  • Continuously advance user research maturity, identifying research methodologies, processes, and infrastructure improvements, and building solutions to implement them.  
  • Foster a team culture of trust, accountability, collaboration, and care for results.

About you 

  • Several years experience in User Research. Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in mixed research methodologies. 
  • Strong experience leading and mentoring user researchers and delivering successful results. 
  • Like working with people and supporting them. 
  • Ability to make the team efficient and effective. 
  • Strong stakeholder management, relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence decisions.  
  • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Comfortable with uncertainty and able to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Passionate about creating exceptional user experiences.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.

The salary range for this position is 74,400 - €100,600 gross per year
